I was in a very dark place

I was in a very dark place and could no longer face the days and nights of worry, the embarrassment of getting in to debt and then not knowing how to sort it all. I couldn't eat or sleep and my health conditions deteriorated. I was not eating more than toasted bread as I couldn't afford to eat or buy food. I had nobody to turn to or help. Stepchange changed that, gave me support, tackled the creditors, help me budget and slowly but surely I have been clearing my debt through stepchange. You helped me survive and get through the darkest times, you would cope with my tearful telephone conversations and your reassurances. My grandaughter now has a grandma and the will to live longer.
