StepChange saved me from financial ruin.

StepChange saved me from financial ruin. I had over £20,000 of debt across multiple debtors and struggling to make minimum payments above what I was paying in interest. The advisor I spoke to was very helpful creating a budget and their website also gave some ranges of expenditure for people in similar living situations which is very helpful if you're not great at budgeting - probably one of the main reasons for getting into debt in the first place. The whole process was really easy and I felt a weight come off my shoulders knowing they would contact all the companies on my behalf and negotiate a payment plan that meant I could actually pay off what I owe.
