Before I got in touch with step change I was sufferi...

Before I got in touch with step change I was suffering from depression,anxiety and was not in a very good mental state. All this was caused by my high repayments that I could not afford to pay on my pension. Since receiving help and advice from Step change I feel like a new person. I can afford to pay back my loan in much smaller monthly payments,without it effecting my ability to pay all my other bills. Reviewed on: 7th May 2026

Step Changed helped me to deal with my debt. They helped to set up an affordable payment plan. Before step change I was suffering from stress. Sleepless nights.,and a feeling of no way out of my situation. Everyone I have spoken to at step change have been very polite and helpful and have given very positive advice. Thank you.
