Not fit to Fly injury claim, loss £151.00

Make sure you screenshot and save to your photos all of your holiday booking details. Insurance Policy through Nationwide Flex A/C. Paid £60 extra for our health conditions. Had not fit to fly claim due to fall. Cost £25 for a Drs letter, not claimable. They’ve stopped £100 excess off it. They’re stopping £26 airport duty, (APD) so I’ve just had to send an email to jet2 customer services to claim that back from Birmingham airport, they take 28 days to deal with your emails!! Found out on the internet they charge £25 admin fee, so wasn’t worth claiming. Has taken 3 weeks to sort out, emails with automated replies. . Chased up by telephone, dealt with very helpful man Michael, queried the date I actually booked the holiday on last year. I should be refunded in next 5 to 10 days. Loss £151.00 off the original claim. Ongoing hospital treatment. Reviewed on: 16th June 2025
