You never know what's around the corner.

You never know what's around the corner. We got into debt due to my husband having head and neck cancer. He looked and felt perfectly fit and then the diagnosis hit. He had to give up work and overnight we lost an income. It can happen to anyone. We couldn't see any light at the end of the tunnel and then we telephoned StepChange and it felt like a gentle arm around us telling us they could help. Those few words were enough for me to sleep without waking up dreading the post arriving. Reviewed on: 26th June 2025
