"PayPal in 3" is a good idea when available as it ca...

"PayPal in 3" is a good idea when available as it can spread the payments without incurring any extra charges. PayPal should offer "PayPal in 3" with major purchases too. However, better still would be "PayPal in 4" like Klana's payments in 4 instalments without further charges. PayPal should offer such facilities to all payments and to all sellers, even if it's paying business directly via money transfer within PayPal’s own website, rather than the Seller's website. For some reason though, recently, PayPal did NOT allow me to use "PayPal in 3" when the purchase via Shop website/app was over £40. I had to pay for the purchase via my bank card. There was NO explanation whatsoever from PayPal why the "PayPal in 3" was NOT available. There was a facility to use PayPal Credit, but I decided NOT to use it. Reviewed on: 6th April 2026
