Club site versus CL site. Which to choose!

Descriptions of club sites in the C&MH sites book are always accurate in facilities offered. CL sites however although mostly accurate in their description can sometimes lead to some surprises such as site being 1 acre in size but pitches for vans are all squashed into a quarter of the site or the site being generally messy or subject to waterlogging. A quick look on google earth can often help satisfy that the CL is what you expect. Also please for the information of other CL site users always leave a review. Expressing the positives of a site is great for the owners and hopefully pointing out not so good areas on a site might encourage their owners to rectify problems that they have perhaps overlooked.
