Worst Insurance Experience

If you want peace of mind when something goes wrong, avoid esure. My car was stolen and recovered on 3rd July 2025. I reported it straight away, gave them every document and answer they asked for, and expected my claim to be handled quickly. Instead, here we are over a month later and nothing has been resolved. My case handler, Chloe Gardner, has not provided clear updates or a realistic timescale for resolution despite my repeated follow-ups. Communication has been minimal and vague, leaving me completely in the dark. This delay has ruined our summer holiday plans, as we were supposed to drive to Europe. We’ve been left stuck, stressed, and without the car we’ve paid to insure. I trusted esure to be there when I needed them. They’ve shown me they’re happy to take your premiums, but when you make a claim, be prepared for long delays, poor communication, and endless frustration. Reviewed on: 11th August 2025
