Should be renamed Not Good To Go

I had to make two claims after my trip in May/June this year, one for a delayed trip back due to my first train being delayed. I was travelling overland from Italy and the first train was delayed by 28 minutes meaning I missed my connecting trains and had to stay in Paris overnight. As they were different train companies, they did not honour the original tickets and my expenses were over £300. Despite purchasing their Gold cover and additional missed connection cover, Good to Go have declined my claim saying that they do not insure the trip back and that I would have to be delayed for 12 hours (I was!) and not 28-minutes. The second claim is a medical one and despite getting all paperwork to them in June and paying for them to see my medical records from my GP, I am still waiting for their decision. They have repeatedly asked me to resend documents. And despite saying in all emails that they will respond within 14 days, they do not! They repeatedly say that they are dealing with a number of claims. This should be a straight forward claim as I had to have 10 days of treatment from the hospital after having a bad reaction to bites. Reviewed on: 11th November 2025
