Opening an account is easy and straightforward. Shawbrook also maintains good savings rates unlike the other providers out there who chop and change them, usually in the downward direction to the detriment of customers, I have never understood this as people then have to move the money out to somewhere better, this shows that shawbrook listen to what customers want, well done them Reviewed on: 15th January 2026
