With the LISA in general, I would only recommend this to first time buyers who are looking to buy outside of London. I feel kind of trapped because of the withdrawal fee and not being able to find a 2 bed in London for under £450k in the areas that I'm looking for. Nor will I likely ever have enough money to afford a house in general, but I appreciate Tembi having a reasonable interest rate that will at minimum, help me have a decent extra retirement fund for when the time comes if I never end up having a sufficient size deposit Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
