Good if you know what you want

It's an interesting one. I had chats with a few other mortgage brokers before L&C. These were much better at explaining the differences between the mortgage types and how each one worked. With this information armed, L&C were great, they were very fast when asking the questions and had a much higher assumed knowledge. Without the prior chats with others, it would have felt very difficult to answer the questions. Once we had chosen the mortgage provider, you then have to play the game where they try to sell you lots of extra insurance at a pretty terrible rate. Otherwise all good and gave us a good mortgage deal. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026
