Gamechanger.

I've been searching for a platform that actually respects my money instead of bleeding me dry with monthly fees, and InvestEngine is exactly that. Just downloaded it and honestly? I wish I'd found this years ago. The fees are genuinely zero. Not "zero for three months then we hit you." Not "zero but we make it back on spreads." Just... zero. Platform fee? £0. Dealing fee? £0. Exit fee? £0. It actually feels illegal. How are they even making money? (Apparently through the small fee on the managed service, which is totally fair.) **The app itself is so clean.** No garish colours, no "BUY NOW" flashing buttons, no crypto ads. It's just... calm. You open it, you see your portfolio, you know where you stand. The "look-through" tool that shows you exactly which countries and sectors your money is actually in is genius—I didn't realise I was so overweight on US tech until I used it. Saved me from a stupid mistake. I've seen some reviews mention the app can be a bit slow or that you have to get used to the "pots" system. Honestly? I set up my ISA in about 4 minutes, scheduled my monthly invest, and it just... works. If the trade-off for zero fees is waiting two extra seconds for a screen to load, I'll take that every single time. Customer service replied to my test email within an hour too. On a Sunday. Try getting that from Hargreaves Lansdown. If you're a buy-and-hold person, if you just want your ISA to quietly grow without some platform taking 0.45% for doing nothing, just get InvestEngine.
