perfect for kids

We opened a NatWest Rooster Account for our son and it has been a great experience so far. It’s perfect for helping him learn how to save and manage his own money in a safe and simple way. He loves being able to check his balance and see his savings grow, which has really encouraged him to be more responsible with his spending. It also gives him a real sense of independence, as he feels trusted to make his own choices. The Apple Pay feature is amazing and makes it easy and secure for him to use his card when we’re out, without carrying cash. As a parent, it’s reassuring to know we can keep an eye on things while still letting him feel in control. Overall, it’s a brilliant account for teaching kids about money in a modern, stress-free way. We’d definitely recommend it to other parents. Reviewed on: 17th February 2026
