First time mortgage buyer

Buying my first house I pretty much had no idea what i was doing. I knew i was ready to take that step, I had found a house that I liked but I didn't know what to do next. Gemma and Jessica @ tembo made my life so easily it really felt like I didn't do anything at all. They helped me with everything- every stupid question that I had they had an answer for, they gave me great advice not just from a mortgage point of view but personally too. They have a really good portal set up that I effortlessly uploaded all of my documents to and they bullet pointing me all the information they needed. They kept checking in on me with every new step and was available at all times if I needed anything. I'm not sure if buying a house is normally this easy as its my first time but they really did make my life so simple. Reviewed on: 18th February 2026
