Initially, I moved my LISA from another provider for the competitive interest rates. The transfer went smoothly until I found that an outstanding bonus hadn’t been collected. This had a knock on effect to the monthly interest figures I should have been receiving on the account sum, for at least four months. After many emails back and forth, Tembo found the issue and apologised. They also worked out the interest I was deficient because of the bonus not being collected and added that to my LISA balance in order to bring my account back up to date. Initially I was really annoyed the bonus had been ‘left behind’ but was really impressed and reassured when everything was brought back in line. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
