Using as a pension pot top up

I had already purchased my first home when I opened my Tembo account as I had outstanding government paid in after my exchange date. I did not wish to lose 25% of my remaining balance if i withdrew. I really love the pause feature; this wasn't available with my previous account provider. My only negative is when opening the account, there is no option to choose if you're not buying your first home and you are using as an additional saving account and there is no where to update this even if your circumstances change during the course of having the account. I have recommended Tembo to my younger friends and family members who are eligible to open a Lifetime ISA. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
