Review of the Monzo, Under 16s account:

Absolutely brilliant

We absolutely love our Monzo Under 16s account - from the easy to use build friendly app to the fantastic coloured card, it is designed to be attractive to children, easy for parents and sneakily a little bit educational too. We appreciate the fact that both parents have easily been able to link our accounts to make it easy to set pocket money, reward good behaviour and add birthday money. Our family loves that you can add little notes, thank yous and even emojis too! For our daughter, it is clear, simple and easy to use. Pots are simple to set up to make saving goals easy to reach, and the little facts and information videos are great at teaching children all about money. She enjoys the feeling of having a bank card and an app just like the adults have, whereas I enjoy the peace of mind of being linked to that account, receiving real-time information on her spending, and easily being able to set spending limits and selected retailers. Basically put, the Monzo Under 16s account is clear, simple, safe, educational and of course in true Monzo fashion there’s an added touch of fun and colour. We couldn’t ask for anything more!
