Review of the Monzo, Current account:

Banking as it should be!

I started with Monzo with a simple pre paid credit card back in around 2016 and over the years have swapped to a full current account, a business account, an investment account and insurance’s. They are always a pleasure to deal with and the App is intuitive and easy to use. I always recommend Monzo to all I meet and wouldn’t use any other bank. I was a ‘legacy’ banker from the mid 1970’s using 2 of the ‘big name’ banks all the way up to the swap in 2017; I wouldn’t go near them anymore with a barge pole! Monzo is SO far ahead (or are the ‘big banks’ so far behind? Either way - Monzo has been utterly brilliant. Thank you. Reviewed on: 6th March 2026
