Achieving my home-ownership dream with Tembo

Absolutely great experience working with Andy Shead and Callum Doherty to achieve my first mortgage and get my first home. Everyone from Tembo I had contact with was friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and highly responsive. At the end of the day, I left school with very few GCSEs and worked hard for a good few years to qualify as a Gas Engineer. I never thought I would be able to buy my first home with a mortgage, but the tenacity of Andy and Callum at Tembo helped me to achieve my dream. They were brilliant! Reviewed on: 11th March 2026
