Modern Banking Done Just Right

I have been using Monzo for more than two years, and throughout this time my experience with both the banking services and the app has been consistently smooth and reliable. When I first considered becoming a customer of a fully digital bank, I felt a mix of curiosity and hesitation. However, choosing Monzo has proven to be a genuinely worthwhile decision. Initially, I opened the account as a secondary bank account to manage everyday expenses such as groceries. Over time, however, Monzo has naturally become my primary bank for managing a much broader range of financial activities. The app has always been stable and intuitive, and I have never experienced any glitches. Transfers are quick and effortless, making day-to-day banking extremely convenient. One of the features I particularly appreciate from Monzo is the range of savings tools available. The ISA pots and the 1p savings challenge are both excellent ways to build savings in a simple and engaging manner. Recently, I upgraded my account from the free tier to a higher subscription plan, and I find the additional tools and perks offered by Monzo well worth the investment. Overall, I would happily recommend Monzo to anyone who values a bank that is dependable and well-designed, yet refreshingly modern and far from boring. Reviewed on: 12th March 2026
