I’ve been using Revolut in the UK for a while now, and honestly, it’s a bit of a game-changer if you’re tired of "old school" banking. Here is my take on what it’s actually like to use: The "Why I Love It" Part The App is Slick: It’s lightyears ahead of most high-street bank apps. Everything is instant—notifications pop up the second you tap your card, and moving money between "Pockets" for bills or savings takes two seconds. Travel is a Breeze: This is where it wins. I use it for every holiday because you get the interbank exchange rate without the hidden fees. You can just swap your GBP to Euros or Dollars in the app when the rate looks good. Safety Features: I use the disposable virtual cards for basically every random website I buy from. Once you use it, the card "destroys" itself and generates a new number. It’s total peace of mind against hackers. Finally a Real Bank: Now that they have their UK banking licence, your money is protected by the FSCS (up to £85k), which makes it feel much more like a "main" account rather than just a travel card.
