They do not have your backs.

Had a joint account. my partner was a victim of a scam/fraud. We went to our police, had an interview and crime reference number. We reported it immediately to Monzo. Monzo ‘investigated’, she got her money back a while later but they closed her account and the joint current account. Leaving just mine. So simply, I switched out. I’m not having a bank which does not have anyone’s back. Clearly intimated by a bigger bank and folded very quickly. I would not recommend to anyone. There are far better banks out there that will protect you and your money. Only good thing they have is money at 4pm day before. Reviewed on: 12th March 2026
