I opened a Lifetime ISA with Moneybox a couple of years ago thinking it would just be a small step towards saving for a home. I didn’t expect it to actually change how confident I feel about my future. What I love most is how simple everything is. The app makes saving feel effortless, and seeing the government bonus added on top of what I’ve put in is honestly one of the most motivating things. Every time I check my balance it feels like my savings are actually working with me, not just sitting there. The Lifetime ISA in particular has been amazing. Knowing that for every £4 I save, the government adds £1 makes such a difference. It’s helped me build a deposit much faster than I ever thought I could on my own. It genuinely makes home ownership feel achievable instead of just a distant goal. Moneybox has also made me more consistent with saving. The little features like round-ups and regular deposits mean I’m building my LISA without even really thinking about it, and over time it adds up more than you expect. Saving for a first home can feel overwhelming, especially with how expensive everything is right now, but my LISA with Moneybox has made it feel manageable and even exciting. It’s honestly one of the best financial decisions I’ve made, and I’m really grateful for a product that actually helps people move closer to owning their first home. For anyone trying to get on the property ladder, I can’t recommend the Moneybox LISA enough. It’s simple, motivating, and it genuinely makes a real difference. Reviewed on: 12th March 2026
