Monzo Current Account Review

I’ve been using the Monzo current account for everyday banking and it’s one of the easiest banking apps I’ve tried. The app is very simple to use and gives instant notifications every time money goes in or out, which helps me keep track of my spending. One of my favourite features is the budgeting tools and “Pots”. I can separate money for bills, savings, or different goals, which makes managing my finances much easier. The round-up feature also automatically saves small amounts from purchases, which adds up over time. Another big advantage is that there’s no monthly fee for the standard account and you can spend abroad without foreign transaction fees, which is really useful when travelling. The app also categorises spending automatically so you can see where your money is going. The only downside is that everything is app-based. There are no physical branches, and depositing cash can sometimes involve a fee. Overall, Monzo is a great modern bank for people who prefer managing their money from their phone.
