A short and personal review

Where to start? A while before using Plum I, with all the best intentions was not on top of my finances. Putting money aside was a genuine hardship. There always felt like something would arise and I would see any attempt at saving suddenly disappear due to one reason or another. I buckled down, changed a few lifestyle choices (Nothing too great) and decided to try Plum out. Setting my pockets was simple and setting a splitter easy to transition into. Having easy access to a couple of pockets that I could claim back into my original account same day was incredibly useful when it was needed in the early days. But more so, seeing my goals and earning towards them has been incredibly self motivating. I've now got enough in savings over the course of a few years that financially I don't feel that burden and previous struggle anymore. I don't feel I'm behind on where I want to be. Being able to view and alter my pockets is allowing me to get the things I want in life. I like to collect action figures and my collection has grown. This year I'm making a contribution towards a mortgage. A place of my own. Last year I had a friends wedding abroad in Poland. I was given a years notice beforehand and was able to adjust my splitter without fuss or bother. When the time came around everything was available for me, no need for a credit card. Flights and the ability to rent my own flat for the week along with spending money. Genuinely with my hand on heart, this service has been instrumental in giving myself the ability and motivation to be so very much better in my financial decisions and capabilities. I can still make some silly decisions on purchases but now I can also afford to. This years target after the mortgage contribution shall be a Kayak and quite possibly an authentic Star Wars Stormtrooper set to wear.
