They refused to pay out on Travel insurance when I had to cancel a holiday due to serious illness when it was covered by the policy. They never pay out. Reviewed on: 11th April 2026

They do not pay out

I took out travel insurance with the Zurich in complete good faith, I specifically checked that they would cover circumstances where I had to cancel my holiday. They assured me I was covered. I booked a holiday shortly before going on holiday I was diagnosed with a serious illness and had to cancel my holiday. I made a claim Zurich refused to pay out, even though I was clearly covered. bought Travel insurance in complete good faith from Zurich Insurance in particular I checked that it covered circumstances when I had to cancel my holiday. Co-Op Insurance never pay out

I bought Travel insurance with Co Op I specifically checked I would be covered if I had to cancel my holiday, they confirmed I would be covered categorically. I booked a holiday which I had to cancel due to ill health, Co- Op refused to pay out even though it was clearly covered, stay away they never pay out. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026

Zurich Insurance do not pay out on Insurance policies

I took out Travel Insurance with Zurich Insurance and a few months later booked a holiday, unfortunately shortly before going on holiday I was diagnosed with a serious illness and was forced to cancel my holiday. Zurich Insurance refused to pay out even though I was clearly covered. They had initially agreed to but on calculating the cost changed their minds.
