Review of the Mettle by NatWest, Business Banking:

Cannot recommend enough

I have recommended Mettle to many friends and family who are self employed. Their app is fantastic and so user friendly. I especially appreciate that you can have different pots with percentages of income that are filtered int them. I did attempt to use free agent with the app but found it easier to do my self assessment on my own but it’s a good feature to have. Customer service is efficient and friendly. They keep you updated on any changes promptly. The fact there are no fees unless you upgrade is a bonus especially as a small business owner. Reviewed on: 18th March 2026
