Opened the account to move from Ltd company to sole trader. Simple quick process and the app is easy to use. Simple to download bank statements and as a free basic account to run part time work in retirement its good and certainly fit for the purpose for which I require it. Its nice there are options to upgrade to levels that offer more options but Monzo don’t seem, at least so far, to bug you to do so with lots of pushy advertising/messages. I’ve not had to use the customer service to data so can’t comment on it hence my neutral rating of this aspect. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026
