I’ve been using the Countingup app for my business since around 2021/2022, and it’s significantly simplified how I manage my finances. The setup was straightforward, and I had my business account up and running quickly without any hassle. I really like how everything is in one place – banking, invoicing and basic bookkeeping – so I don’t have to juggle multiple apps or spreadsheets. Creating and sending invoices from the app is simple and professional, and being able to track what’s been paid and what’s outstanding has helped me stay organised. I also find the real‑time tax estimates and reminders very helpful, as they give me a clear idea of what to set aside and help me avoid any surprises at year end. Overall, it suits me well as a small business owner who needs to manage accounts on the go. One thing that could be improved is that it does not integrate with QuickBooks, which makes it harder to seamlessly pass data over to my accounting software. I also can’t log in to the account on the desktop, so I’m limited to using the app on mobile, which can be a bit restricting when I’m working from my laptop. Despite these limitations, Countingup has been a reliable and user‑friendly tool for me over several years, and I would happily recommend it to freelancers and small business owners who want a simple, modern way to stay on top of their finances.
