So much better than other apps

We have used other cards in the past, but they were both costly, and quite tricky to work with, for what we needed. We have been using Rooster for a couple of years now, and my daughter has learned so much about the value of money with her card. It is also very easy for me to add money for completed chores, rewards and treats. She has also used her card online to buy things from Shein and Temu - again boosting her confidence and understanding the burden of financial responsibility. Reviewed on: 1st April 2026
