Review of the Tembo Money, Mortgage Broker:

If I could give 6 stars, I would...

I have known about Tembo for quite some time and always intended to use them for brokerage services when we were in a position to get a mortgage. Once we started seriously looking I found out that Tembo's LISA rate was much better than with my previous provider so I moved both my wife's and I LISA over to Tembo. This also meant that not only was I getting more interest, I also benefited from free brokerage services! We initially spoke with Paul at Tembo who was excellent and provided loads of useful information and reassured us about our circumstances, even completing a DIP for us. A few months later when we finally found a house, I emailed Paul immediately after having our offer accepted who phoned me within 2 minutes! - He was on holiday the week after but set us up immediately with one of his colleagues, Saul who ran through the full application process with us both. He worked tirelessly to get our mortgage application submitted quickly so that our rate was locked in which was especially useful given the current volatility in the market. Once the application was submitted, Sian contacted us to explain all the next steps and she ensured our application was reviewed super quickly by our lender so that we could get our offer as soon as possible, she did not disappoint! I would genuinely recommend Tembo to anyone buying a home as they have made the process for us so easy and stress free. Reviewed on: 1st April 2026
