Paypal has become all but indispensible for online purchases especially from overseas. But locally, the Pay in 3 is a very useful way of spreading medium sized purchases, taking them from the "need to check my balance" range to the "don't need to think about it" range. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026

Pay in 3 is god for managing an extra spend.

Pay in 3 is a helpful addition to ways of managing finances when spending more than usual, or when money is a little tight. I like the convenience of it - no signing up to some credit broker - and the fact that it's a short term thing. Just long enough to smooth out a big purchase, but not so long that you have to plan for ages. Reviewed on: 6th April 2026
