Keep a sharp eye on your bank balance!!

Unfortunately, despite your settings choosing paypal credit for both general preferred payment and specific retail automated payments, if this does not go through they will, without informing you, take the money straight from your bank account leading to some surprise charges when you next access your bank that cannot be changed despite proof of your payment settings. The panic is real and its not good enough! Reviewed on: 17th April 2026
