a washing machine from a dubious company...

I purchased a washing machine from a dubious company, the goods were not delivered but I took the matter up with Pay Pal and the money was immediately returned to my bank. I like the fact that my bank details are kept secret from all the companies I deal with on the internet. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026

I have used PayPal for many years.

I have used PayPal for many years. It is an essential buffer between my bank account and Companies I buy from. I know that these Companies cannot get any details of my accounts. I tried to purchase a washing machine once via PayPal from shall we say a dubious Company. As soon as I realised I informed Paypal and the money was back in my account within two hours.
