Solid and dependable, just lacks rewards

Monzo's app is solid and dependable — it just works, every time. Notifications, budgeting tools and the overall experience are excellent. The main drawback is the lack of rewards compared to some competitors, but as a reliable everyday current account it's hard to fault. Reviewed on: 8th April 2026

Great features and practically free

Trading 212's investment account is perhaps the most competitive out there. No platform fees, a huge range of stocks and ETFs, fractional shares, and an excellent app make it hard to beat. Highly recommended for any investor. Reviewed on: 8th April 2026

Still the best, but not as competitive as it started

Trading 212's flexible Cash ISA is still the best option out there for me, with a great app and no fees. However, the interest rate has become less competitive over time compared to when it first launched. Still my top pick, but worth shopping around. Reviewed on: 8th April 2026
