A great alternative to credit card

PayPal credit gives a great alternative to credit card use for purchases over £100. The interest free period of 4 months is excellent but you need to be aware of the high interest rates after that. Keeping track of when final payments are due can be tricky at first. Direct debit means you don’t miss the regular payments and PayPal emails keep you well informed in advance of when they come up. I use PayPal credit for items over £100 on 0% interest as it is excellent way to pay for these items. PayPal also provides unique ways to pay for other things with extended terms. On the occasion I have needed to contact the customer service they have been excellent and I now know enough to work my way through when to pay off my interest free loan Reviewed on: 8th April 2026
