Cheap and easy to use platform

T212 is a very intuitive and feature filled platform, the pie and fractional share features make it easy to input your own investment strategy or take inspiration from what others have done, and then visualise the returns and adjust holdings as you wish. T212 is well suited for beginners or small portfolios, as the fractional shares allow you to get exposure to any stock you choose from £1, and the fees are much lower than any of the ‘big names’. Getting support to attend AGMs/ vote in them is hit or miss, but is getting better. Their range is more limited than the ‘big names’ but you probably wouldn’t notice unless you were after niche securities, though it would be nice to see bonds added. If your priority is value for money or ease of use T212 excels, and for small to medium portfolios very few alternatives are as competitive. However if fees aren’t important to you and you need access to niche strategies and tools I would suggest looking elsewhere. Reviewed on: 10th April 2026
