I was experiencing some financial difficulties before christmas, which I thought if I payed off my remaining balance I would then be able to pull out of my savings plus another family loan of £500. Therefore I was paying in money I thought i'd get straight back plus more that I was desperately needing. However that was'nt the case and I was notified that I wasn't eligible to do this. When ringing up and speaking with customers service they managed to reverse my payment so I could retrieve the money I had put in the account which she didn't have to do as this was my mistake, without this I wouldnt of had any money. I have always had a great experience with manchester credit union and very easy accessible money when needed with no interest to pay back. I have found this very helpful for caring for my children as a single mother. Reviewed on: 11th April 2026
