Best Frictionless Financial App - EVER!

I opened an account recently and it couldn't have been easier than downloading an app and signing up - done! This is how banking should be done. If only the idiot banks that held most of my money were as easy to deal with. When trying to move some of my funds to Chase, so I could take advantage of the 4% interest rate, they made life very hard indeed. Despite having a very high daily transfer limit, that I didn't even get close to, there was a very low limit for each individual transfer I could make and despite passing the two factor authentication every time, Santander basically made it almost impossible for me to move my money. They drove me to frustration and although I had no intention of closing that account that is exactly how they made me feel. Now move over to Chase and life is very different and so much simpler. The app itself is so easy to use and does everything you need it do, especially making payments is just a breeze. And I can move my money freely without any hassle or unnecessary blocks. Santander, you could learn a lot from Chase, and when I tell you its none of your business why I'm moving my money it's literally because it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! If I have passed all the authentication stages and am moving money from an account with my name to another account with my name then there is nothing suspicious going on, and all you need to know is that I am moving MY MONEY. I went from having the worst customer experience ever with Santander to having the best customer experience ever with Chase and getting double the interest rate from their savings account. The app gives me instant access to both a current and savings account, where I can move money between the two freely. There is a low level of interest on the current account but you also get 1% money back on everything you spend - or at least you did, as this offer may have now lapsed. You get a debit card you can use and it is valid for international travel with no charges. I mean, what a great product, they really thought about the customer and delivered something useful, friendly and easy to use. A truly frictionless financial app and customer experience. Santander, you could learn a lot from them or by listening to your frustrated customers - pull your finger out or you won't have many left. Generally the banks are the worst of all our institutions anyway, they have no values and scam us everyday with their financial deceptions - no to mention tanking the economy when they go to far. To say they cannot be trusted is an understatement but we are bound by their lock on the financial system. Chase is the best of a very corrupt bunch, at least in customer experience - although the are owned by JP Morgan, who are at least as evil as the next bank, just ask Tesla. So good I went back and they could even run for election

For the length of my driving career, which is several decades, I have been moving to a new insurance provider at every renewal to get the best price. Shock horror and to my surprise, this was no longer the case. After scouring the online market places to get what I considered to be a good deal I was both disappointed and disheartened. In the end the renewal from One Call turned out to be the best option available, which has pretty much never happened to me before and I suspect in the history of man is a very rare thing indeed. Well, I made my own personal history by sticking with them because they deserved my business more than anyone else. I just hope they can do the same at my next renewal because it seems the world is going mad and the prices for almost everything is going in the wrong direction, mainly thanks to inept governance of our economy by people that don't have our best interests to heart or are so useless they lack the capability to do their jobs. One Call for Prime Minister? They literally would just have to show up at number 10 to improve the UK economy from the dimwits that are there now... and don't even get me started on the opposition. Quick and easy

Still early days and not had to test their service so far but for the cover and the price they just couldn't be beaten on this occasion. I'll be sure to consider them at renewal if they continue to offer this kind of value, and provided they deliver if/when I need them - which is hopefully never, right :-) Reviewed on: 3rd July 2019
