Review of the Triodos Bank, Online Saver:

Value for money plus resilient honesty and more.

Value for money and other service considerations are certainly important but this bank has something else. Its positive ethical approach is of a piece with its customer service performance - Triodos literally puts our money where its mouth is and does so entirely transparently and this gives me confidence that this bank has resilience in these times of distrust in the economic and financial arrangements which are so obviously deceptive and fragile. This bank will not gamble with our money because it is here to provide services and to do that ethically, not to maximise profit. The profits it does make reassure that it has staff who understand money and markets but also we know those profits will themselves be turned to good use and not to enrich the already wealthy while impoverishing others.
