Great Value, Room to Improve on Support

PayPal Credit offers genuinely excellent value for money. The interest-free periods are competitive, the integration with PayPal's wider platform is seamless, and it's hard to beat the convenience of having a credit facility built right into a payment method you're already using day-to-day. For straightforward purchases, it works brilliantly. Where PayPal Credit falls short, however, is in customer service — particularly when things go wrong. If you run into a dispute with a reseller or third-party seller, navigating the buyer protection process can be frustrating. Getting timely, helpful responses from the support team is harder than it should be, and resolving issues with resellers often feels like an uphill battle with limited advocacy on the customer's behalf. Overall, PayPal Credit is a solid product at a great price point, and for most users most of the time it delivers. But if you ever need hands-on help sorting out a problem, be prepared for some persistence. With improvements to customer service and stronger buyer support in dispute situations, this could easily be a five-star product. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026
