Paypal credit (card) good and bad points

Using paypal credit to split payment transactions interest free finance is fantastic. Using paypal for secure online payments is great. Not good at all is, After contacting paypal by phone a week prior to going on holiday in Europe, informing that i will be using the card abroad and paypal insisting it won’t be a problem (even informing them of the exact dates) Security still stoped me making a transaction at the hotel. Second time to happen. First time i accepted the reason as security is important but this second time has given me very little confidence in my paypal credit card. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026
