Good financial management from a young age.

Enjoy using the Rooster app. My son enjoys using his card and it's easy for us to control his activity. He briefly lost his card on a school trip recently, and had the wherewithal to stop the card with the bank. Fortunately, it was handed in for him, and the bank was able to reverse the stop (with suitable checks) and activate it again. We were particularly impressed with this service. As regards day-to-day usage, we have a number of 'chores' set up, and his weekly allowance is governed by how many he completes. This is simple to set up and manage and gets him into good financial management habits, as well as learning to 'work' for his cash! on the whole, we are very impressed. Reviewed on: 17th April 2026
