I’ve been using Trading 212 for a while now, mainly for my Stocks & Shares ISA, and overall I’d say it’s a very good platform, especially for beginners. The biggest advantage is definitely the zero commission trading. It makes a big difference over time, especially if you’re investing regularly in smaller amounts. The app is also very easy to use – everything is quite intuitive, and buying shares or ETFs only takes a few taps. I also like the fact that it offers fractional shares, which is helpful if you want to invest in expensive stocks like Microsoft or Nvidia without needing a large amount of money. In terms of safety, it’s regulated in the UK and offers FSCS protection, so I feel comfortable keeping my investments there. Overall, I’d recommend Trading 212 for long-term investing and beginners who want something simple, low-cost, and easy to manage. If you become more experienced, you might eventually want a more advanced platform, but for most people, it does the job really well. Reviewed on: 17th April 2026
