Great rates and easy-to-use app

I recently opened a Cash ISA with Trading 212 mainly because their interest rate on deposits was one of the best I could find at the time. The sign-up process was quick and straightforward, and I was set up within minutes just by using my my mobile phone. As part of set up, I lived how quick and easy the ID verification process was and I didn't need to send any emails or attachments anywhere or deal by post. The app is really easy to use, even if you’re new to this kind of platform. Everything is clearly laid out, and it’s simple to check your balance or move money around. I also like how transparent it feels—rates and information are easy to find without digging around. One feature I didn’t expect but I really enjoy is being able to see the interest I’ve earned each day. It’s a bit of a novelty for me, but it’s actually quite motivating watching it build up over time. I haven’t needed to contact customer service directly yet. So far everything has been smooth with no issues. It’s still early days, but based on my experience so far, if you're digitally engaged, I'd definitely recommend Trading 212 if you’re looking for a simple platform with very competitive rates. I must admit I was initially hesitant as I’ve always used traditional banks and hadn’t tried fintech platforms before (which is ironic given I work in financial services). Looking back, I do wish I’d opened an ISA with them in the last tax year as I'd be earning a better interest rate on that money now! Reviewed on: 18th April 2026
