I use the better off calculator on a regular basis

I use the better off calculator on a regular basis as it is part of our full debt appointment advice protocol. It is definitely a useful and informative resource and its quick and efficient to use. I have had some experiences where the benefit check information does not properly correspond with a clients actual position and where all the details have been correctly submitted so it can be hard to determine why a discrepancy exists. More specifically it can be relating to a clients UC housing allowance where it will specify a completely different amount to what was submitted in terms of what the client is actually receiving for their housing allowance/ reflective of their statement and their household information.
