Holiday nightmare became holiday heaven

About forty minutes into our drive up to mid Wales with the caravan in tow, our car issued a Red warning on the screen alerting us to a sudden drop in battery power and a danger to the car’s ability to function without immediate action being taken. We alerted Green Flag and a mechanic arrived within the time stated. The mechanic knew exactly how to remedy the problem, which took around 40 minutes. He was courteous and friendly and explained everything fully, answered questions with obvious and extensive knowledge, and explained what he was doing throughout. He then followed us for 20 miles to ensure that we were happy with the repair and that there were no further problems. All in all we are very happy with the whole process and experience. No one wants to break down, let alone at the beginning of a long journey on holiday and towing a caravan, but we remain confident in our choice of the Caravan Club breakdown and recovery service.
