PayPal credit seemed like a good idea.

PayPal credit seemed like a good idea. From my experience I would not recommend it. Payments from my bank to PayPal credit took days rather than the expected hours despite selecting pay now. I was only able to make payments using a debit card and not a credit card which was frustrating when trying to the advantage of an interest free credit card. The user experience of the app is not as intuitive as other banking apps. I now avoid using the PayPal credit option. Reviewed on: 5th May 2026
