Great way to earn extra money.

I have had a Tesco Bank credit card linked to my club card account for many years and have found it a great way of saving. I use it for most every day purchases and set up a direct debit to clear the balance, every month, so as not to incur charges. I use the points gained every year with a combination of Tescos deals to buy yearly vehicle breakdown cover for my family. This gives me peace of mind and doesn't actually cost me any money. I feel it's a win, win situation. I have found Tesco customer service to be extremely good as well. Reviewed on: 1st September 2015

A very good bank account with a very considerate bank.

I'm have had a Sandanter 123 current account for some years now and would line to highly recommend it to others. For every direct debit you sign up to from your account you are rewarded with interest. Santander have a very easy to use calculator on their 123 account site. For direct debits on household expenditure you can earn between 1 and 3 percent, which is added to your account monthly. For account balances of beteern £1000 and £2000 you can earn between 1 and 2%, for balances of between £3,000 and £20,000 you can earn 3%. In my opinion this is a very good deal, with interest rates so low at the moment. There is a charge of £2 per month for this account which is more than offset with all the interest which is available. The interest rates are current as at 1st September, 2015.
